What to Expect

🕵️♂️ The Mission: Kids become Dino Explorers! Guided by our host, Dr. T-Rex, they’ll go on a quest to "recapture" escaped dinosaurs.

🎶 The Warm-Up: High-energy Dino Training featuring music, dancing, and games.

🦕 The Course: Choose your challenge! Watch out for surprise dinosaur encounters along the route.

IMPORTANT: Who Needs to Register?
To comply with our safety insurance policies, EVERYONE on the course MUST be a registered Participant or a Dino-Chaperone with an Official Race Bib.
For the Loops:
My Child is 5 years and under:
To keep our "hatchlings" safe, every child age 5 and under MUST have a Dino-Chaperone (an adult 18+) on the course.
My Child is 6 years and older:
For children age 6 and older, they are welcome to run on their own or with a registered Dino-Chaperone.
Having a Dino-Chaperone is optional.
Step 1: Fill out the registration form for your child.
Include the information for the ONE Adult who will run with the child.
Step 2: Add Additional Dino-Chaperones (Optional)
Select the number of Additional Adults($3.00/Adult).
Include the Full Names of ALL Additional Adults.
Step 3: Check Out
Once your child and your Dino-Chaperone(s) are all in the cart, click Checkout to finalize your registration.
For Timed Distances (1K, 2K, and Double Dare): All participants must register. If you want to run alongside your child in these events, you MUST register yourself as a full participant. Chaperone bibs are NOT valid for timed distances.
We know how much work goes into getting the whole family ready for race day! Please keep these details in mind as you plan:
Weather: Our events happen rain or shine, so please come prepared for the weather!
Cancellations: If we are forced to cancel an event (following Athletics Ontario guidelines), don't worry—your registration isn't lost. You’ll be able to transfer your spot to any other Dino Run event in 2026 or 2027.
Refunds: Because we pay for most of our event costs (like medals, bibs, insurance and permits) well in advance, we are unable to offer cash refunds.
Unable to attend: Transfer your registration to a friend by completing this form.
